Purpose is not something you chase. It’s something you grow into.
For a long time, I thought purpose was about finding the right thing—the perfect calling, the perfect role, the perfect moment. I believed that once I discovered my purpose, everything would suddenly make sense.
But Scripture shows us something different.
Purpose is not revealed all at once.
It is uncovered through obedience, preparation, and trust.
Esther’s Purpose Wasn’t Instant
Esther did not step into the palace and immediately save her people.
She was hidden.
She was prepared.
She was refined.
Before she ever wore a crown, she learned how to wait. Before she used her voice, she learned how to listen. And before she stepped into influence, she learned humility.
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
— Esther 4:14
Her purpose unfolded in stages—and so will yours.
Purpose Is Rooted in Identity
You cannot walk in purpose if you don’t know who you are.
Purpose does not begin with doing—it begins with being. Being a daughter. Being loved. Being secure in God.
When your identity is rooted in Christ, your purpose flows naturally from that place. You no longer strive to prove yourself—you serve from overflow.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
— Ephesians 2:10
Your purpose was prepared before you arrived.
Purpose Requires Healing
Unhealed wounds can distort calling.
Sometimes God delays revealing purpose—not to withhold it—but to protect you. Because when wounds remain unhealed, we may use purpose to seek validation instead of obedience.
Jesus doesn’t rush us into assignment—He heals us so we can carry it well.
Purpose carried without healing becomes heavy.
Purpose carried with healing becomes life-giving.
Purpose Is Service, Not Status
In God’s Kingdom, purpose is not about position—it’s about obedience.
Esther’s calling wasn’t glamorous. It required fasting, risk, and courage. It required her to lay down comfort for the sake of others.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
— Mark 10:45
Being a princess in God’s Kingdom means serving faithfully—whether that looks like leading, teaching, creating, cleaning, nurturing, or quietly interceding.
No role is small when God assigns it.
You Are Called Where You Are
Purpose is not postponed until “one day.”
God uses you where you are now—in your home, your workplace, your friendships, your church, and your community.
Jesus said He was about His Father’s business—even before the cross.
Purpose is not about waiting for permission.
It’s about saying yes, daily.
Raising Women Who Raise Others
At Raising Esther’s Ministries, we believe purpose multiplies.
We are not just raising women who walk in their calling—we are raising women who help others discover theirs. Women who mentor, serve, and make room for others to rise.
Purpose is never meant to end with you.
An Invitation to Step Forward
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to be fearless.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to be willing.
“Here am I. Send me.”
— Isaiah 6:8
Purpose unfolds one obedient step at a time.
And if God has placed something in your heart—an idea, a burden, a vision—it’s because He trusts you to carry it.
You were created for such a time as this.
