Hey Princess

Written by Rebecca Johnson

Do you know that you are a princess? I know, for some, when they hear that word, they immediately think of a little girl in a tiara and a ball gown. And to a degree, you might be right. To God, we are His little girls—His beloved daughters, cherished and deeply loved.

But maybe that’s hard for you to accept. Maybe the idea of being a daughter feels foreign, especially if you carry the wounds of a strained or absent father. If that’s you, I want to remind you of something beautiful: God is your Father. He is not distant. He is not absent. He is not cold. He is loving, present, and intentional about you.

The Bible says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). You were never an accident. You were created with purpose, crowned with dignity, and called into His kingdom. Your identity isn’t in your past, your pain, or your circumstances—it’s in Him.

So, stand tall, Princess. Walk in confidence. You are loved, chosen, and seen by the King of kings. And that makes you royalty.

Reflection Question:
How does knowing that God is your Father shift the way you see yourself?
