A Lesson in Faith
Written by Rebecca Johnson

I remember during lockdown, I had ordered some things from Amazon. The delivery day finally came, but only one of the items arrived at my door. I was confused because all the items had the same address. Later, I found out that the packages had been delivered to different blocks in my building. You see, where I live, there are three blocks (A, B, and C) and each block has the same apartment numbers with different endings. The postman had mistakenly given a package to each of my neighbors.
I’m not going to lie—I was frustrated. So, I had to get up, go around to each block, and reclaim what was rightfully mine.
This situation reminded me of our spiritual lives. Like you, there are things I’m waiting for, promises I know God has made. But I’ve realized that these blessings are already ours; we just have to go and claim them. Sometimes, we need to rise in faith to take back what the enemy has stolen or retrieve what we thought was lost.
Remember: The blessing is there. It’s waiting for you. Move in faith, and to quote Mary Mary, “Go get it.”
‘ Then Joshua said to the children of Israel: “How long will you neglect to go and possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?’ – Joshua 18:3
