| Devotional: As women in the Raising Esthers ministry, we are called to build our lives on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. Just like the wise man who built his house on the rock, we must anchor ourselves in His teachings and His love. When we build our lives on Christ, we are establishing a foundation that can withstand any storm.Consider the story of the three little pigs. The first two pigs built their houses quickly with straw and sticks, seeking the easy path. However, when the wolf came, their homes could not stand against the threat. In contrast, the third pig invested time and effort into building a sturdy house of bricks, which provided safety and security when the wolf attacked.Similarly, we must choose to invest in our spiritual lives by building on the rock that is Jesus. This means not just hearing His words but putting them into practice. The world around us can be challenging, with trials and tribulations that threaten to shake our very foundations. Yet, when we are rooted in Christ, we have a source of strength and stability that nothing can shake. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to be our firm foundation. Help us to build our lives on Him, putting His words into action every day. Strengthen us to withstand the storms of life, knowing that with Christ as our rock, we will not be shaken. Guide us in our journey, and may our lives reflect Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Reflection: Take a moment today to reflect on your own life. Are there areas where you need to strengthen your foundation on Christ? How can you put His teachings into practice more fully? Commit to making these changes and trust that He will guide you every step of the way. |
