What promise are you waiting on from God?`

Are you currently in a season of waiting for a promise from God? If you’re feeling weary and your faith seems to be fraying, it’s okay—you’re not alone in this experience. Waiting for God’s promises can sometimes feel like standing at a bus stop where everyone else’s bus has arrived, except yours. But take heart, because waiting is an important part of your journey with Christ.

In moments of waiting, it’s natural to question and wonder when your promise will come to pass. However, I want to assure you that you’re in good company. The Bible, particularly Hebrews 11, often referred to as the Great Hall of Faith, provides stories of remarkable men and women who, too, had to patiently wait for their promises. Some had to endure a waiting period of up to 20 years.

So, don’t be disheartened. Remember, your waiting is not in vain. Take solace in the fact that others before you have faced similar situations and emerged with their faith strengthened. Embrace this time of waiting as a crucial part of your spiritual journey, trusting that God’s timing is perfect and that your promise will come to fruition in due course.
