The God Who Sees Me.

Have you ever felt as though God has forgotten about you? Perhaps you’re in a challenging situation with no apparent way out, and you wonder if God has overlooked you. Let me draw your attention to the inspiring story of Hagar from Genesis 16. Hagar, the servant of Sarah (Abraham’s wife), found herself pregnant at Sarah’s request, as Sarah and Abraham had been struggling to conceive. However, tensions grew between Hagar and Sarah once Hagar became pregnant. Feeling pregnant and alone, Hagar ran away (Genesis 16:3-6).

In her moment of despair, an angel of the Lord appeared to Hagar, offering reassurance and instructing her to return. It was in that moment that Hagar felt truly seen by God, prompting her to give God the name El Roi, meaning ‘The God Who Sees Me’ (Genesis 16:13).

If you ever find yourself questioning whether God has forgotten about you, daughter of God, your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. Pick up your crown, dust it off, and place it firmly in its rightful position. His promise is clear: ‘He will never leave you nor forsake you’ (Deuteronomy 31:8), and we know that ‘God is not a man, that He should lie’ (Numbers 23:19). He is with you at this very moment. Use this time to open your heart to Him, expressing your fears and hopes without hesitation, for He already knows.

May this message encourages

you. Always remember, God has not forgotten you. Why would He? He loves you unconditionally.

Bible verse for the week:

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” – Luke 1:37
